[About me]
I've worn many hats throughout my career. I started wanting to be a compositor in After Effects, I thought it was really fun trying to replicate Hollywood FX inside of AE. Then I shifted to motion graphics, and after diving into 3D, I wanted to be a creature artist. The first time I picked up ZBrush, I never looked back, it was fun! So I spent a while in that area, learning anatomy, sculpting, and texturing.
I started doing environments. Oh wait, this is also fun!
I opened up Houdini, and the amount of control I had was mind-blowing! The same with Nuke.
Now I'm confused, what do I like the most?
I guess I just like creating and problem solving. I slowly but surely became a 3D generalist without even knowing it.

MY APPROACH
Every project is a journey
01
Look around
Real world references is the key to any project, studying the real world and how things work in reality reflects directly on how a shot or a 3D scene is structured.
02
Sometimes it's overwhelming with all the new technologies coming out every single day, I like to go back to the basics, like silhouette, color, contrast, and values.
03
There is a hundred way to create one thing, I narrow it down to 3 or 4, and choose the best approach.
04
It's easy to get attached to things, especially your own creation. It's a team sport and I believe that critique and feedback can lift the product to a whole new level.
